PNP Salary 2026 — Police Rank Base Pay Table (Patrolman to General)

A PNP Patrolman/Patrolwoman earns ₱31,151/month base pay in 2026 — the first of three annual increases under Executive Order 107 (s. 2025). Police pay runs by rank up to Police General at ₱157,274, on a Base Pay Schedule separate from the civilian Salary Grade system.

PNP rank pay table (2026 base pay)

The Philippine National Police is a military and uniformed personnel (MUP) service. It does not use the civilian Salary Grade schedule — it follows the MUP Base Pay Schedule, which got its first 15% tranche on 1 January 2026 under Executive Order 107.

Base pay only, first tranche effective 1 Jan 2026 under EO 107 (s. 2025), per DBM NBC 600. Two more tranches follow in 2027 and 2028. Allowances (PERA, subsistence, hazard, longevity) are paid on top.

Why the PNP uses base pay, not Salary Grade

This is the single most common confusion about police pay. Civilian employees are paid by Salary Grade under EO 64; uniformed personnel are paid by rank under a separate Base Pay Schedule governed by their own law. The two systems are not comparable grade-for-grade — a Police Lieutenant's ₱52,004 base pay is set by the MUP schedule, not by any SG number.

Under EO 107, MUP base pay rises 15% in total across three tranches: roughly 5% in 2026, then further increases in 2027 and 2028. So the Patrolman rate of ₱31,151 in 2026 will climb again in each of the next two years.

Allowances on top of base pay

  • PERA — ₱2,000/month for uniformed personnel below Police Major
  • Subsistence allowance — raised under EO 107 (roughly ₱350/day)
  • Hazard pay, longevity pay and quarters/clothing allowances
  • Mid-year and year-end bonuses plus the standard cash gift
