MSU-SASE in 3 Months: A 12-Week Prep Plan
MSU hasn't announced the SASE date for AY 2027–28 yet — the last two were on 1 December 2024 and 5 October 2025, so the month varies. Use this plan by counting 12 weeks back from your exam date once it's announced, or start now and keep going.
MSU doesn't publish the SASE's subtests, item count or timing. Past takers describe questions in English, mathematics, science and reasoning, so the plan covers all four.
Time budget
- 60–90 minutes on weekdays
- 3–4 hours on Saturday
- Sunday off, or a short review of your mistakes
About 10–12 hours a week. Adjust it to your school load, but keep the Saturday block for timed practice.

Throughout: read one English article or editorial a day.
Keep an error log
For every wrong answer, write the topic and why you missed it — didn't know the concept, careless slip, or ran out of time. Each Sunday, re-do the items in your log. This does more than piling on new questions.
