Where these figures come from
Civilian posts use the EO 64 salary schedule: the 2026 third tranche (DBM NBC No. 601) and the 1 January 2027 fourth tranche. Uniformed services use the MUP base pay schedule under EO 107 (DBM NBC No. 600 for 2026).
All figures are monthly basic pay before allowances and deductions. New hires start at Step 1.

A Nurse I is Salary Grade 15, the minimum RA 9173 sets for public nurses: ₱42,178 a month at Step 1 in 2026, rising to ₱44,148 on 1 January 2027. Nurse II is SG 16 (₱45,694) and Nurse III SG 17 (₱49,562).
How much does a public school teacher earn in 2026?
A Teacher I is Salary Grade 11: ₱31,705 a month at Step 1 in 2026, rising to ₱33,387 on 1 January 2027. On top of basic pay come ₱2,000 PERA a month, mid-year and year-end bonuses (one month's pay each), a ₱5,000 cash gift and a ₱10,000 yearly teaching allowance.
Why are police, soldiers, firefighters and jail officers paid the same?
They share one uniformed-personnel base pay schedule (EO 107, s. 2025). The entry ranks — Patrolman, Private, Fire Officer I and Jail Officer I — all earn ₱31,151 a month in base pay in 2026, plus a ₱350-a-day subsistence allowance.
Why isn't private-sector or overseas pay shown?
