Faculty ranks: many schools use levels (for example, Faculty I to IV or Teacher I to III) tied to qualifications, performance and years of service.
Leadership roles:
- Subject or department head
- Grade-level coordinator
- Assistant principal or principal
Pay and benefits: set by each school and not published on a common scale. Private employers must follow labor law, including 13th-month pay for rank-and-file employees, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG.
What it means for you:
- Ask for the salary, benefits and promotion rules in writing before you accept
- You still need a PRC teaching license (LET)
