The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in Silang, Cavite is the PNP's premier officer training institution. PNPA cadets complete 4 years of intensive training and graduate as Police Lieutenants with a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety degree.

The PCAT is more rigorous than NAPOLCOM PNPE. Format:

PCAT scores combined with PNPE composite, PFT, and interview determine final cadet selection.
