The exam is a 3-hour, pen-and-paper multiple-choice test in four areas: General Information/Uprightness (the Constitution, PNP laws, the criminal justice system, values), Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. The pass mark is 70%.
Civilian applicants must be 21 to 30 on the day of the exam and hold a bachelor's degree; the fee is ₱400. NAPOLCOM doesn't publish the item count, so enter the numbers from your own practice test.
