PNPA (Philippine National Police Academy) is the PNP officer training academy located in Silang, Cavite. Cadets complete 4-year programme + earn degree + commission as Inspector.

Entry:

  • Pass PNPAE (PNPA Entrance Exam)
  • Age 17-22
  • Single
  • Physically + mentally fit
  • High school graduate (some prefer college units)

Programme:

  • 4 years intensive law enforcement + academic training
  • Free tuition + room + board + stipend
  • Commission as Inspector upon graduation
  • 10-year service obligation

Career trajectory:

  • Inspector → Chief Inspector → Senior Inspector → Superintendent → Senior Superintendent → Chief Superintendent → Director → Deputy Director General → Director General (PNP Chief)
