PhLE in 6 Months: A Week-by-Week Prep Plan

A 26-week plan for the six PhLE subjects. You pass with a 75% general weighted average and no subject below 50% (RA 10918, Sec. 17).

Time budget

• 3 hours per weekday × 5 = 15 hours
• 5 hours each weekend day × 2 = 10 hours
• About 25 hours a week, roughly 650 hours in total

Phases

Phase 1 (weeks 1–6): Foundations

• Diagnostic practice exam
• Practice of Pharmacy and pharmacy law
• Pharmaceutical Chemistry foundations

Phase 2 (weeks 7–14): Heavy content

• Pharmacology and pharmacokinetics by drug class
• Pharmaceutics: dosage forms and calculations

Phase 3 (weeks 15–20): Remaining subjects and practice exams

• Pharmacognosy and Biochemistry
• Quality Control and Quality Assurance
• Single-subject timed sets; two full practice exams

Phase 4 (weeks 21–26): Refinement

• Targeted work on any subject near 50%
• A full practice exam under exam conditions
• Final review and a light last week

Daily flashcard habit

50–100 flashcards a day on drug classes, laws and compendial standards, reviewed on a spaced schedule.
