ECE Board in 6 Months: A Week-by-Week Prep Plan

A 26-week plan for the four ECE subjects: Mathematics, GEAS, Electronics Engineering and EST. Every subject needs 70% on its own (RA 9292, Sec. 16), so the plan keeps all four moving.

Time budget

• 3 hours per weekday × 5 = 15 hours
• 5 hours each weekend day × 2 = 10 hours
• About 25 hours a week, or roughly 650 hours in total

Phases

Phase 1 (weeks 1–8): Foundations

• Diagnostic practice exam
• Mathematics and GEAS foundations
• Circuit theory and devices
• Communications principles

Phase 2 (weeks 9–16): Subject depth

• Engineering economics and management
• Amplifiers, op-amps, digital and power electronics
• Analog and digital communications, networks
• Microwave, satellite, fiber, transmission lines

Phase 3 (weeks 17–22): Practice exams and remediation

• Single-subject timed sets
• Two full-length practice exams
• Targeted work on any subject under 70%

Phase 4 (weeks 23–26): Refinement

• A full practice exam under exam conditions
• Formula and constant review
• A light final week

Daily problem-solving

Aim for 20–30 problems a day, spread across subjects.
