The ECE Board Exam is the PRC licensure for electronics engineers in PHL.

What ECE tests

3 subjects across 2 days:

  1. Mathematics + General Engineering Sciences (GEAS)
  2. Electronics Engineering
  3. Electronics Systems and Technologies (EST)

Each subject ~5 hours, ~100 items.

Pass criteria

  • Weighted average ≥ 70
  • No subject below 50

ECE pass rate

National pass rate ~40-55%.
