Common questions about preparing for this exam
Five to six months. VLE covers six subjects across anatomy, pathology, pharma, medicine, surgery, and animal husbandry. It's an annual exam — there's no second chance later in the year.
PRC requires a general weighted average of 75% with no subject below 50%. Surgery & Theriogenology and Public Health are common slip-points — drill them through the final two months.
PRC scheduled the VLE for November 4-6, 2026. VLE is annual, not bi-annual — if you miss this sitting, you wait a full year. Application opens through online.prc.gov.ph by August.
