It covers Verbal Ability (English and Filipino), Numerical Ability, Analytical Ability and General Information (the Constitution, RA 6713, peace and human rights, environment). CSC doesn't publish item counts per area.
- Passing rule
- A general rating of at least 80.00. Results are final, with no rechecking or rounding. 14–17% of Professional examinees passed in each sitting from 2024 to March 2026.
- Who can take it
- Filipino citizens at least 18 years old on the filing date who haven't taken the same level in the three months before the exam and haven't already passed it.
- Fee
- ₱500.
