The official numbers
From PRC's results releases (passers ÷ examinees):

In 2025, 5,377 of 9,927 REE examinees passed (54.2%). The April sitting has had the larger group of takers in both years.
Why people fall short
You pass with a 70% general weighted average and no subject below 50% (RA 7920). EE Professional Subjects carries 45% of the weight, so weakness there is hard to make up elsewhere.
Habits worth copying
These are common-sense patterns, not PRC statistics:
- Put the most time into EE Professional, especially machines and power systems.
- Review the Philippine Electrical Code repeatedly.
- Take several full timed practice exams.
