The Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) Board Exam is the PRC licensure for electrical engineers in PHL.

What REE tests

3 subjects across 2 days:

  1. Mathematics, Engineering Economics, and Basic Engineering Sciences
  2. Electrical Engineering Apparatus and Materials
  3. Electrical Power Systems and Machines

Each subject ~5 hours, ~100 items.

Pass criteria

  • Weighted average ≥ 70
  • No subject below 50

REE pass rate

National pass rate ~50-65%.
