PMA Entrance Exam at a Glance
The Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE) is the first stage of admission to PMA, which trains career officers for the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Who can apply
Natural-born Filipino citizens who are single with no children, senior high graduates (Grade 11 students may take the exam) with a general average of at least 85%, aged 17–22 on the date of admission and between 5'0" and 6'4" tall. They must also be physically fit, of good moral character and free of administrative or criminal cases.
After the written exam
The exam is the first stage of PMA's screening. Applicants also prepare for a physical fitness test (a 3.2 km run, push-ups and sit-ups in 2026) and the later stages of screening.
What PMA leads to
- A four-year course and a BS in Management major in Security Studies
- Free college education, training and allowances (a Cadet's 2026 base pay is ₱40,284 a month)
- A commission in the AFP as a Second Lieutenant (Army, Air Force) or Ensign (Navy)
