Psychometrician Licensure Examination — a month-by-month study plan and how to approach each subject.
The exam in brief
Two days, four subjects of 3 hours each: Developmental Psychology (20%), Abnormal Psychology (20%), Industrial-Organizational Psychology (20%) and Psychological Assessment (40%). A weighted average of 75% with no subject below 60%. If your average passes but a subject is below 60%, you retake only that subject. 70–92% passed in the last three sittings.

Month 1: Map the subjects

Preparation time, passing rule and the next exam date
How long should I prepare for the Psychometrician Licensure?
Most reviewees plan for three to six months, depending on how recently they finished their degree. Map every subject first, then give more weeks to the heaviest and weakest subjects.
How do you pass the Psychometrician Licensure?
A weighted average of 75% with no subject below 60%. If your average passes but a subject is below 60%, you retake only that subject. 70–92% passed in the last three sittings.
When is the next Psychometrician Licensure?
The last Psychometrician Licensure was held on 1–2 September 2026 (Pampanga: 17–18 September), moved from August because of heavy rain. The next one is expected in August–September 2027 but hasn't been announced by PRC yet. Recent sittings were in August 2024, September 2025 and September 2026. PRC has not published its 2027 exam schedule yet.
