The exam in brief
A written multiple-choice test — the first stage of PNPA cadet screening, followed by psychological, medical and physical tests and interviews. PNPA doesn't publish an official subject breakdown. PNPA doesn't publish a pass mark. In the last cycle, 1,627 of 21,179 examinees passed the written test (7.68%).

Month-by-month PNPACAT plan
Weeks 1–2: Diagnostic
PNPA publishes no breakdown, so cover the core areas
- Take a timed practice set in English, math, science and reasoning
- List weak topics
- Set a daily 60-minute slot
Weeks 3–5: Language and reading
English and Filipino
- Grammar drills in both languages

How long should I prepare for the PNPACAT?
Most takers plan for 8–12 weeks of steady review, longer if the fundamentals are rusty. What matters more than the number of weeks is a daily slot you keep and regular timed practice.

When is the next PNPACAT?
The last PNPACAT was held on 25 October 2026. PNPA has not announced the PNPACAT for Class 2032.
