Four months for first-time takers. MTLE covers Clinical Chem, Hematology, Micro & Parasit, Blood Banking & Sero, Microscopy, and Histopath + Med Tech Laws. Clinical Chem and Hematology are highest-yield — start there.
PRC requires a general weighted average of 75% with no subject below 50%. Memorising normal lab ranges and reference values is non-negotiable — most MTLE traps key off small numerical differences.
PRC scheduled the August cycle MTLE for August 15-16, 2026. The March cycle has already passed. Application opens through online.prc.gov.ph six to eight weeks ahead.
