The exam in brief
One day, paper-based: General Education (150 items, 2 hours, 20%), Professional Education (150 items, 3 hours, 40%) and your Specialization (3.5 hours, 40%; 150 items for most majors, 120 for Mathematics, 100 for TVTEd). A 75% general average with no test below 50%. 57–73% of Secondary examinees passed in the last four sittings.

Month-by-month LET Secondary plan
Month 1: Map the three tests
Gen Ed 20%, Prof Ed 40%, Specialization 40%
- Take a diagnostic in all three
- Get the current table of specifications for your major
- Build a rotation that keeps your major on the schedule
Month 2: Specialization
40% of your rating
- Work through your major's topics daily
- Timed practice in your major
- Keep an error log per topic
Month 3: Professional Education
Another 40%
- Learning theories, curriculum and assessment
- Scenario-based items
- Read every explanation
Final month: Exam readiness
One long day: 2 + 3 + 3.5 hours
- Sit full timed practice tests in the real order
- Revise Gen Ed too — no test may fall below 50%
- Calculators are allowed only for Mathematics majors

How long should I prepare for the LET Secondary?
Most reviewees plan for three to six months, depending on how recently they finished their degree. Map every subject first, then give more weeks to the heaviest and weakest subjects.
How do you pass the LET Secondary?
A 75% general average with no test below 50%. 57–73% of Secondary examinees passed in the last four sittings.
When is the next LET Secondary?
The last LET Secondary was held on 20 September 2026. The next one is expected in March 2027 but hasn't been announced by PRC yet. LET ran in March and September in 2025 and 2026. PRC has not published its 2027 exam schedule yet.
