About the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Exam

  • A pen-and-paper, multiple-choice test in three timed parts: Creative Reasoning with Language and Literature (45 minutes), Science (65 minutes) and Mathematics (70 minutes).
  • Four options per item, and your score is the number of correct answers — no penalty for guessing.
  • Applications for 2027 scholarships closed on 17 September 2026, and the exam is scheduled for 14–15 November 2026. The 2026 exam drew 97,617 examinees, of whom 8,500 qualified.
