PMA & PNPA Entrance Exam 2026: How to Prep for Both at Once

Two Academies, Overlapping Tests

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) each run their own entrance exam — PMAEE and PNPAE. If you're applying to both (and many applicants do), you can combine review because the test areas overlap a lot.

Shared Test Areas

• English — both exams test reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary.
• Mathematics — both lean on algebra, geometry, trigonometry.
• Science — biology, chemistry, physics basics.
• Abstract / Logical Reasoning — pattern and sequence puzzles.

PMAEE-Specific

PMA's exam leans more heavily into General Information — Philippine military history, current events, leadership-oriented scenarios. Budget around 20% of your review for PMA-specific content if PMA is your priority.

PNPAE-Specific

PNPA's exam includes Filipino language proficiency as a section. So make sure your Filipino grammar and comprehension are sharp if PNPA is your target.

Combined 10-Week Plan

Weeks 1–5: cover the four shared test areas with daily 45-min blocks. Weeks 6–7: add PMA-specific General Information if applying to PMA; add Filipino if applying to PNPA. Weeks 8–9: timed mocks for each exam. Week 10: rest plus light recall.
