LET Testing Centres 2026: PRC's List and How to Pick
PRC's 45 LET testing centres for September 2026, grouped by Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao — plus how to pick yours, check your school assignment and avoid exam-day traps.

Picking your let testing centre seems like an afterthought during application. It isn't. Every sitting, some takers arrive at the wrong gate, oversleep at unfamiliar lodging, get caught in travel delays, or discover their assigned school is on a campus they've never visited. The choice you make when you file affects your exam morning. Here's PRC's actual list of LET testing centres, how to pick yours, and how to avoid the logistical traps.
PRC's LET Testing Centres
PRC sets the LET testing centres in its official exam schedule, and the list changes between sittings. For the September 2026 LET, PRC listed 45 centres, including additional ones designated by separate resolutions (Roxas City, Santiago City, Balangkayan in Eastern Samar, and Virac in Catanduanes). The LET is one of PRC's biggest exams: in 2025, about 219,500 people took it across both levels and both sittings.
Luzon
- NCR, Baguio, Pampanga, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Lucena, Legazpi, Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Santiago, Nueva Vizcaya, Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Rosales, Bayambang, Calapan, San Jose (Occidental Mindoro), Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Virac (Catanduanes).
Visayas
- Cebu, Bohol, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Bacolod, Antique, Roxas, Tacloban, Catarman, and Balangkayan (Eastern Samar).
Mindanao
- Davao, Digos, Tagum, Mati, General Santos, Koronadal, Kidapawan, Cagayan de Oro, Valencia, Oroquieta (Misamis Occidental), Butuan, Pagadian, and Zamboanga.
The March 2026 list was different — it included Masbate City, Maasin (Southern Leyte) and Sablayan (Occidental Mindoro), for example. Always confirm the active list for your sitting in PRC's schedule on prc.gov.ph before you file. The next LET is expected around March 2027, but PRC hasn't published its 2027 schedule or testing centres yet.
How to Pick Your Centre
The decision should follow three rules.
Rule 1: Where You'll Sleep the Night Before
PRC's programme asks you to report to your assigned school or building by 5:30 AM, and late examinees are not admitted. Pick a centre close to where you'll spend Saturday night, and leave buffer for breakfast, traffic and finding the gate.
If you live far from any centre, plan to stay near the venue the night before. Book early — you won't be the only examinee looking for a room.
Rule 2: Familiarity
If you have the choice, pick a city you know. Knowing the area saves time on exam morning. New place? Do a dry run on Saturday afternoon once your school assignment is out — walk the route, find the gate, spot the building.
Rule 3: Backup Logistics
Choose a centre you can reach more than one way. A school reachable by only one jeepney route becomes a problem the moment that route is disrupted.
How School and Room Assignments Work
A testing centre is a city or area, not a single building — examinees are spread across schools in that centre. PRC's exam programme tells examinees to check their school or building assignment on the PRC website or on the notices posted at PRC premises two to three working days before the exam. Read your Notice of Admission instructions carefully too.
Don't assume "NCR" means the PRC building itself. You could be assigned to any participating school in the area.
Changing Your Testing Centre
You choose your centre when you file on LERIS. If your circumstances change — a job move, a family emergency — contact the PRC regional office as early as possible and ask what's possible. Don't assume a change can be made close to exam day.
Davao and Cebu Logistics
Mindanao and Visayas takers have more centres to choose from than many expect. In Mindanao, Digos, Tagum and Mati sit alongside Davao; in the Visayas, Bohol and Dumaguete have their own centres alongside Cebu. Pick the nearest one on PRC's list for your sitting rather than defaulting to the big city.
Banned and Allowed Items
PRC's exam programme lists what to bring and what's prohibited:
- Bring — Notice of Admission, one long transparent white plastic envelope, one long brown envelope, two or more No. 2 pencils, a black-ink ballpen, and packed snacks, meals, medicines and water in transparent containers.
- Banned — books, notes and review materials; calculators (except Secondary Mathematics majors, one approved model); phones, smartwatches, earplugs and other electronic devices; bags of any kind.
Since bags aren't allowed inside, travel light. PRC isn't answerable for belongings lost during the exam.
Dress Code
Male examinees: a tucked-in white polo shirt with collar (no seal, logo or mark) and decent pants or slacks. Female examinees: a tucked-in white blouse or shirt with collar (no seal, logo or mark) and decent pants or slacks.
What to Do the Saturday Before
- Confirm your school or building assignment on the PRC website or the posted notices.
- Print your Notice of Admission. Print a backup copy.
- Lay out your exam clothes, envelopes, pencils, pen and food.
- Eat a normal dinner — not too heavy.
- Sleep at your usual time. Don't try to "sleep early" — you'll lie awake.

No. Go to the school assigned to you.
What if I'm assigned to a school across town from where I'm staying?
It happens. Plan transport accordingly, or stay closer to the venue the night before.
Are some centres easier than others?
No — it's the same exam nationwide. PRC publishes results by level and a performance-of-schools list, not by testing centre. The passing rate guide explains what PRC publishes.
Which ID do I need?
Bring your Notice of Admission and follow the ID instructions printed on it.
What if there's a transport strike or bad weather?
Identify a backup route now, and watch PRC announcements — PRC has moved LET sittings in some regions because of weather before, as with the September 2025 LET in Regions I, II and CAR.
