The PRC Test Centre Network

The PRC operates LET test venues in every regional office's coverage area. Major hubs handle tens of thousands of applicants per cycle; smaller regional centres serve a few hundred. Combined, the network typically processes ~218,000 LET takers a year (Elementary plus Secondary).

Rule 2: Familiarity

If you have the choice, pick a campus you've visited before. Knowing the gate, the building layout, and the parking entrance saves 15 minutes of confusion on exam morning. New campus? Do a dry run on the Saturday afternoon before — walk the route, find the gate, spot the building.

Rule 3: Backup Logistics

Pick a centre served by multiple transport options. A site reachable only by one specific jeepney route fails the moment that route's drivers go on holiday. Sites near MRT/LRT stations or major bus terminals add resilience.

How Room Assignments Work Within a Centre

Once you've picked a centre, room assignments within that centre are alphabetical by surname. PRC posts the full room list 7–14 days before exam day on the regional office Facebook page and the central PRC site. Your Notice of Admission will eventually show the building and seat number.

Within a major hub, you might be assigned to any of 5–20 partner schools. The PRC publishes the school list with the room assignments. Don't assume "Manila" means the PRC building itself — you might be at a partner university 4 km away.

Switching Test Centres

You can switch centres before your application is finalised. Once finalised, switching requires a personal visit to the regional PRC office and a re-verification step. Allow 5–10 working days for the switch to process.

Common Reasons People Switch

• Job relocation between application and exam
• Family emergency forcing return to home province
• Realising the original centre is logistically unworkable

The Cabuyao Phenomenon

Cabuyao, Laguna has emerged as a major LET hub for southern Metro Manila and CALABARZON applicants. Why? Lower congestion than Manila, better transit links to Cavite/Laguna/Batangas, and partner schools like Pamantasan ng Cabuyao with high venue capacity.

The trade-off: applicants from Manila proper sometimes find Cabuyao further than expected. Travel from Quezon City to Cabuyao on a Sunday morning isn't trivial. If you're choosing between Manila and Cabuyao, base it on where you actually sleep Saturday night.

Davao and Cebu Logistics

Mindanao applicants flying to Cebu or Manila for LET is rare — most stay in regional centres. Davao serves nearly all of Region XI plus parts of XII and XIII. Travel from Tagum, Mati, or Digos to Davao for exam day is common; budget Friday afternoon arrival.

Cebu serves Bohol and Negros Oriental in addition to Cebu province. Bohol applicants typically take Friday's last fast-craft to Cebu and stay in Mandaue or Cebu City overnight.

Banned and Allowed Items

Same across all centres. The PRC publishes the list with the NOA:

• Allowed — printed NOA, two valid IDs, two black ballpoint pens, 2x2 photos, water bottle (some venues), light snacks.
• Banned — phones, smartwatches, calculators, any electronics, notes, books, scratch paper, caps, sunglasses, hoods.

Lockers are usually provided for bags. Don't bring anything you can't leave with strangers.

Dress Code
