TES (Tertiary Education Subsidy) is a grant under RA 10931 (the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act) that helps eligible college students with education-related costs such as books, supplies, transport and living expenses.
Who it's for:
- Priority goes to students from poor households, such as those listed in the DSWD's Listahanan or the 4Ps (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program)
- Covers students in state and local universities and colleges and in some private institutions under the program rules
How it's run: through CHED's Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) and the schools.
