Do I need a degree to take the Civil Service Exam?

No specific degree is needed to take the CSE, but many government posts have their own education requirements. Passing CSE Professional gives eligibility for first- and second-level posts that don't need a PRC license.

Can I take a PRC board without the degree?

No. Each PRC board requires the matching degree (for example BSN for the NLE, BSCE for the CELE), plus any board-specific requirements.
