CPALE · Auditing Theory
Auditing Theory is one of CPALE's twin auditing subjects. It tests your knowledge of auditing standards (Philippine Standards on Auditing), audit risk frameworks, internal control concepts, and sampling theory — the conceptual side. The procedural side is Auditing Practice, the other twin. This subject is heavy on framework recall.
Auditing Theory is densely framework-driven. PRC questions reference specific PSA paragraph numbers and COSO framework components. You can't gut-feel your way through it — the wrong answer is usually the one that 'sounds right' but doesn't match the standard's specific wording.
How Super Tutor helps
Super Tutor's CPALE Auditing Theory practice drills the framework and standard-reference questions PRC favours. The AI surfaces which framework area — risk, sampling, controls, opinions — needs the most work, so prep time concentrates where the score gap actually lives.
