CSE General Information review — the Constitution, RA 6713 and more
CSC lists four General Information topics for the Professional exam: the Philippine Constitution, RA 6713 (the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees), peace and human rights issues and concepts, and environment management and protection.
The official rules
CSE Professional is a pen-and-paper test of 150 multiple-choice items plus a 20-item personal-data questionnaire, in 3 hours 10 minutes. Calculators and phones aren't allowed. You need a general rating of at least 80.00, and CSC doesn't publish how many items each area has.
The next CSE Professional sitting is on 14 March 2027. Applications open on 2 November 2026, first come, first served. CSC targets results by 11 May 2027.
