NLE (Nurse Licensure Exam) is the PRC licensure exam for Filipino nurses. Sometimes called PNLE (Philippine NLE) to distinguish from the US NCLEX.

Exam structure:

  • 5 Nursing Practice (NP) areas tested over 2 days
  • 100-200 questions per area
  • Total ~500 questions

Pass mark: 75% weighted average, no subject below 60%.

Pass rate: ~50-65% historically.

Held: Twice yearly (May and November).
